Endodontics (root canal therapy)

Endodontics (root canal therapy) – “endo” comes from Greek and means “inside”; “odont” means a tooth. Endodontics is the field of dentistry dealing with treating internal tissues of teeth.

It is important to find all the canals and fill them tightly in a sterile way. Dental loupes help us find the canals, as they magnify the treated site, and ultrasounds enable their adequate preparation. Root canals are filled with the help of the innovative system of obturation with warm gutta-percha. This ensures the obturation of the entire root canal and leaves no empty spaces for bacteria to develop and bring about the recurrence of inflammation.

We also possess equipment which electrically measures the length of the root canal.
